Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand praised the leadership of Patrice Bergeron despite his absence from the lineup due to injury.

"That's why he's such an incredible leader—even when he's trying to get himself better," Marchand said. "He's still finding ways to help the team and be a leader for us. He's always talking to guys, always giving advice, and always trying to help us get better as a team."

Bergeron, the Bruins' captain, has been sidelined since March 9 with an upper-body injury. Despite being out of the lineup, he has remained engaged with the team and has been providing guidance to his teammates from afar.

"He's always there for us," Marchand said. "He's always willing to help us out, and he's always looking for ways to make us better. He's a great leader, and we're lucky to have him."

The Bruins have continued to play well in Bergeron's absence, winning four of their last five games. Marchand has played a key role in the team's success, scoring three goals and adding two assists during that stretch.

Bergeron is expected to return to the lineup sometime in April. His return will be a major boost for the Bruins as they look to make a deep playoff run.
