Denver, CO - The Denver Nuggets punched their ticket to the second round of the Western Conference playoffs on Sunday night, defeating the Minnesota Timberwolves 109-80 in Game 5.

Nikola Jokic was the catalyst for the Nuggets' victory, finishing with a triple-double of 30 points, 21 rebounds, and 10 assists. The reigning MVP was unstoppable in the fourth quarter, scoring 12 points and grabbing eight rebounds to power Denver to the win.

The Nuggets also received strong contributions from Aaron Gordon (20 points, 10 rebounds) and Bruce Brown (17 points, 6 assists). Meanwhile, Karl-Anthony Towns led the way for the Timberwolves with 16 points and 10 rebounds, but it wasn't enough to overcome Jokic and the Nuggets.
